Intern
LaunchPoint EPS is seeking interns in a range of engineering disciplines including embedded software, power electronics, systems, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and technology management (project engineering).
What You’ll Do
Interns work individually and in teams to integrate LaunchPoint’s electric machines with power and control electronics to create hybrid power plants and other power generation systems. Interns may assist with engineering drawings, process documents, work hands-on within the lab environment, machine shop, attend trainings, etc. Interns are exposed to a wide variety of design and manufacturing challenges.
What You Need
Junior standing at the time of application. Sophomores with strong software or hands-on lab skills are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must be currently attending a school of higher education with the goal of obtaining a Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering from a college or university. Successful completion of three years of academic classwork is preferred. Graduate students pursuing an advanced degree in these engineering fields will also be considered.
Salary and Pay Transparency
Salary range for this position is between $20 and $28 per hour. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and all applicable company benefits.
